Welcome to the official history of Connah's Quay Town FC, a proud, ambitious and community driven football club at the heart of local sport.

Founded in 2020, Connah’s Quay Town FC was established with a clear vision: to create a structured, competitive and inclusive football club that represents the community of Connah’s Quay with pride. In a short space of time, the club has grown rapidly, building a strong reputation both on and off the pitch.

Our First Team proudly represents the club at The Deeside Stadium, whilst the Jamie Wynne Memorial Ground plays an important role in the club’s development pathway, hosting fixtures and activities for our other teams. Together, these facilities provide a strong foundation for competitive football, player development and community engagement across all levels of the club.

This structure ensures that talented young players can progress through the ranks within a consistent club philosophy, developing their skills while representing their local community. From youth football through to senior competition.

Competitive Success
Connah’s Quay Town FC has already enjoyed significant success. In 2022, the club were crowned NEWFA Championship Winners, a landmark achievement that reflected the dedication of players, coaching staff and volunteers alike. The title was a testament to consistent performances, strong squad unity and an attacking style of football that thrilled supporters throughout the campaign.
In the same year, the club has also lifted the Two Counties Cup, and also claimed victory in the Mike Beech Memorial Cup adding further silverware to an already growing honours list and demonstrating the team’s ability to perform in high-pressure football. Making a treble success in the clubs first season.
In 2023, more success was had, when our First Team became NEWFA Premier League Cup winners.
Our Reserves team continues to be a vital part of the club’s progression. The 2024/25 season saw the Reserves team crowned Reserves League 2 Winners, highlighting the strength in depth across the squad and the success of our development model.

Current Competition
Connah’s Quay Town FC currently competes in the North West Ardal League, facing strong opposition each season and striving to build on recent achievements. The league provides a competitive platform for ambitious clubs, and Connah’s Quay Town FC continues to push for further honours while remaining true to its values.
